THAT DOESN'T MEAN I HAVE TO AGREE WITH IT. THIS IS A DEEPLY DIVIDED COURT AND I STRONGLY AGREE WITH THOSE WHO DISSENTED. The courts most conservative members dissented. Antonin Scalia wrote that the U-S is 'at war with radical Islamists" and that the court's decision "will make the war harder on us. It will almost certainly cause more Americans to be killed."It's not clear whether the ruling will lead to prompt hearings for the detainees. America is paying the price for its crap foreign policy and they go about it by creating more enemies. There are some nut jobs who are obsessed with blowing shit up but some of those people have done nothing wrong and should be given a fair trial. Terrosism has won in america they didnt have to destroy your beliefs, constitution or way of life because they have scard the american people into destroying it themselves.

Why would anyone fear allowing a prisoner proper due process? No to do so is to condone Vietnam's indefinite holding of American POWs. Only an anti-American would want to see us become like our enemies.

There are hundreds of detainees in gitmo...only ten of them had been put to court yet and none of them could be proven guilty of being connected to Al-Quaida or any kind of terrorism at all.
Just imagine for a minute that maybe ALL or MOST of those imprisoned are innocent...
Can you take the responsibility of your country for holding and torturing COMPLETELY INNOCENT PEOPLE in prison for years and years not even giving them a chance to be free again ?
