Giger is an artistic genius and one of the most original artists to date. He designed every aspect of the alien in the first movie, including the alien 'tongue' being based on a mole wrench and face hugger being based on two hands and vulva. He even used real bone in building the suit worn by Kareem

his art is incredible, the amount of thought and time he must put into each peice astonishes me.A incredible talent, I find his take on darkness more interesting than frightening. Much of his work seems to cross machine and man, in some macbre masterpeice. His use of symetry is also very cool. There is alot that can be said about each peice, as if there not so much art as they are shots of some private hell. I imagine that if hell did exist it would look alot like this. very cool. 5:34 very cool

sorry honey, but there's no one darker than da vinci...why do you think he knew so much about anatomy? because he spent half his life playing with the dead...and there were no morges, or gloves, or freezers back in his day!

based? get your facts straight, its not "based", he was asked to design the alien's since they liked his work so much, it wasnt based, he did it 100%

actually you're somewhat wrong. the alien creature is based on giger's necronom IV. but for the movie, they paid giger to create a creature suitable for the film, but using necronom IV as a reference.

awesome.. and really weird..demonic almost
