that drummer is amazing. i mean the trumpet, bass, and piano player (i'm a piano player myself) can be reached at their level after years of practicing, but that drummer, holy crap

Speak when you can play that good then!

Yeh I know exactly what you're getting at, but i personally think Gonzalo is a bit better of a pianist than Julio is a drummer. Drums always sound impossible to non-drummers.

Gonzalo is da man. love his playing and I play jazz piano myself, but almost quit playing after I heard this master. hehe. but now, I transcribe small bits a pieces of his playing and improvisations, and now it has inspired me and opened up new journeys to practice 4-12 hours a day like I used to in school. But to get where he is, yeah right!! Where can I sign up for therapy and lessons?

Rubalcaba seems Tyner, Barron, and Evans rolled into one...truly great and innovative piano art. Superb playing here by all - the astonishing sheets of sound would make Trane (justly) proud. Good stuff!!
