What can I say -- Laird Hamilton is the shite! And Stacy Peralta is almost as bad ass as him. First the Bones Bridgade, then DOGTOWN AND Z-BOYS followed by the best surfing doc ever? I think BIG WEDNESDAY will always be my true love of surfing movies, but in the doc-shop, RIDING GIANTS rules. This is a just a clip of the man himself -- Laird Hamilton.

Let me put it this way... if YOU tried surfing a wave like that, there is a 99.99% probability that you would die.

And what exactly is it that compels idiots like you to comment on things you know nothing about? It is obvious you have never surfed before. Didn't your mommy teach you that it is far better to remain quiet and appear a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt?

k so if you dive under a wave that size you will get through? i dont think so.. do you know the velocity and power of that wave? it will have enough power to pull you underwater, i think u need to do more research before you say anything

haha man, you try and go under that thing, it sucks you up, and over backwards until you ARE the tip of the wave, and then it slams you down, and up, and around until you have no idea which way is what, and no air left in your lungs, and then it does that some more. and where that wave is, and the reason it's so perfect is that its SHALLOW. and whats under that perfect surface? razor sharp coral. good luck.
