I'm really not one of those people that "relate" to song... but this song is probably one of the most relatable songs of all time... Actually, the whole Room For Squares album is relatable... it's crazy!

This, and 'Slow Dancing in a Burning Room' and 'Say' are my favorites of his.
This acoustic version is great, but try looking for the live version in Birmingham, it is outstanding.
