"How much money do you thing corporations made on the Iraq war? Wake up!"

Why don't you wake up and realise that not every single corporation profits from the war? Corporate workers are real people just trying to get by. Yes, Haliburton are horrible. Of course, the war was wrong. But all this generalisation is tiresome. I bet you shop from Wal-mart. I bet you drink Coke. I bet you drive a car. Thus - you're middle class. England has a middle class and we use the same system.

Obama will probably pardon war criminals in our government, wants to continue Free Trade and militarization, both signs of Imperialism. I voted for McKinney, and campaigned for Kucinich and Nader. Obama is NOT change (only the color, for which Im grateful). check out NewAmericanCentury dootorgan for what they plans of the neocons. Compare this to kucinich's interview on DemoracyNow! show dated 082708

You don't get it. I own businesses and I can tell you Carlin is dead on. I have no problem with the free market, but this country use to have a middle class. Carlin is right. Reagan and every other president including Clinton has redistributed wealth to the richest two percent. How much money do you thing corporations made on the Iraq war? Wake up! They don't ever try to hid it. Haliburton's stock quadrupled during the war. All tax dollars that could have been spent business here.

Lol I'm unemployed, so no I'm not one of those 'douchebags'. Of course they're not the greatest people in the world. But can you honestly say the world would be a better place if there wasn't companies giving jobs to people? In the old days a job in a factory paid less in real terms than say, a job with Coca-Cola. For every Carlin, there's an Ayn Rand. Sometimes it's good to try both sides instead of resorting to name-calling and pseudo-militancy.

"welcome to neo-con America" - didn't Obama win or something?

I've read Naomi Klein. I know all the arguments. I agree with you mostly, it's just the whole idea that corporations have made life worse for everyone that I find a little hard to swallow. I'm not a troll, I'm just trying to see if anyone is able to perhaps go beyond the whole 'omg he's a genius I never realised how screwed we are until he said a massively uninformed statement' thing.

to norado: Carlin never hated this country, in fact he loved it like we all do, thats why he stayed. He hated greedy, manipulative piles of shit raping the people of this country for everything they worked for!

There is nothing wrong with running a successful business but if you think that every corporation has the best interest of the people in mind, you fucking drank the kool-aid or your one of those greedy douchebags that destroyed the global economy.

Narado - poverty in the world, and yes the u.s. hasINCREASED due to globalization. The UN reported the US has poverty akin to those in '3rd world countries'. Adlous Huxley spoke about people who are propagandaized (word?) into complacency while their rights are being taken. welcome to neo-con america, and thank u george carlin - a prophetic voice from beyond.
