How many to pretend ignorance we have in this world :(. I teel you one short story. Slovenian small country fighting to stop this crime in Darfur. And all big press and American administration they laugh too as, because we are small and we don t have a power to stop this crime. But all this press and american goverment they do nothing to stop this crime, because they have a big interest in Darfur, that is oil.

Fuck all primitive people who have just personal interest. I hope you all die.

this is an actual question: how is getting involved in darfur different from getting involved in Iraq? How does the genocide in darfur differ from what saddam did to his people. He committed genocide by dropping mustard gas on the kurds. He also tortured many people personally and let his sons do it as well. he was no angel, but apparently some people (democrats) think it's different. please be civilized if you respond to this.

who cares what the count is one death equals many. It starts with one then it multplies people. Who cares about the accuracy of the count. If an american was to do die somewhere else America would start a war with them.

great idea! lets all give up on man kind and be sociopaths! whether or not help is driven by guilt does NOT diminish the help itself. guilt is instilled in the human mind to prevent us from behaving like murderous animals, which is exactly what the killers in darfur lack.

...Guilt is altruisms stock in trade, and the inducing of guilt is its only means of self-perpetuation. If the giver is not kept under a torrent of degrading, demeaning accusations, he might take a look around and put an end to the self-sacrificing. Altruists are concerned only with those who suffer—not with those who provide relief from suffering, not even enough to care whether they are able to survive. When no actual suffering can be found, the altruists are compelled [to go searching for it]
