A&E Biography - Ed Gein - Part 1
BackMerry Christmas! A&E Biography - Ed Gein - Part 1. ITs long awaited but it finaly came. Sorry for the long wait guys, I had to get a new program to cut and splice, but its working WONDERFULY now! I havent cut and converted things so fast ever before, I'm pretty proud of it. Also, another reason why its been so late uploading videos is because alot of other people seem to be doing it as well... like I tried uploading a biography on Henry Lee Lucas but sombody else had already uploaded it... So I've been trying to be a bit more careful, but I do have several others in stock, so stay tuned!

I have always been interested in learning about Eddie Gein. Probably because he's like THE reason why the horror movie genre today is the way it is.

I hate to sound sick but I actually am fascinated by these videos (not in a good way) I just think it's interesting to learn how incredibly despicable people can really be. And if someone wants to say "its all in the brain" fine. Then your just admitting that on your veiw it really isnt wrong.

Wow, a moral relativist. What a surprise. No such thing as a horrible person? Your twisted/radical veiw of morals pretty much allows anything then doesnt it? Yeah, it's all because of the childhood. This guy had a fucked up childhood but he CHOSE To do these things, much like Dahmer did. The only thing is that ed gein wasnt found sane, which still doesnt justify it. Simply ignorant.

Wisconcin has quite a scary atmosphere...there is no entertainment and the judgements are severe! Seriously though...this is a fascinating piece of history and it inspired some of the greatest novelists and film directors.

'Based on a true story'.
So much dramatic licence was taken as to make those claims very misleading.
Ed Gein was depraved and ate dead bodies. He was a murderer, but not a torture / murder. He killed two people (that makes him horrible, in my book scolton); but I'm not convinced he was evil, or even malicious. Just deranged (and horrible).

Of course their is such thing as a horrible person, even if the reason for that horrible person is due to a horrible childhood.
The defence case for all the worst crimes is insanity. Ed Gein's is one of the few examples where this the true verdict.
