I personally think Xavier has been givin this talent.....only through the gods and the spirits, sorry to get crazy on you here. But the aboriginal's of his country have been givin the time, and he is the investor. A great all around experience for the ppl that love what it is and that are trying to love it. God bless Xavier.

I too agree that Xaviers Australian background has a major influence on his musical message.
his song messages is a clear example of his concerns with australia and its conservation 'For this sacred land
It has seen many hands
It has wealth and gold
Yet it is fragile and old
etc etc
'
however, he might be speaking on a global scale as yikadi stated, but i really believe xaviers main priority is for australias native culture the aboriginal people to be given respect they deserve.

I totally agree with you. You see the aboriginal people of Australia have a very similar (errie actually) history as the Canadian aboriginal people. Yes Australia's aboriginal culture is far far older but the way our governments treated them is almost identical right down to an apology.

And again with Scandinavia and the Saami.

I didn't mean to say that he is not a proud Aussie, more that he tends to be inspired musically more on a global scale. Being Canadian, I share similar views of the States as Australians, and what they could do over what they end up doing.
