that means 25.2 seconds of sustained fire. which is quite a while when you think about it (It only takes a burst of about 2-3 seconds from this thing to destroy a tank)

Actually GAU-8/A rate of fire is up to 4200 spm. 6k belongs to smaller calibre Gatlings with the exception of Mini-Minigun (5,62 mm) which has up to 10k spm.
