Spew Bullshit?
Idiot!
You are saying that hundreds of 30MM Depleted Uranium Bullets impacting your "Magic tank" within a few seconds traveling at mach 3.3 cannot penetrate it? I am sorry but it looks like you need to snap the fuck back to reality.
An Avenger can own the fuck out of ANY tank in existence, with or without DU.

u would die with a 2 milisec burst

Make that in to an autocannon and mout a few on a C-130

ac 130's (e, h, and u variants) have a m102 105mm howitzer. I believe that would qualify as a more powerful gun.

Not really the same thing. ;)
At any rate, given the GAU's firing rate and muzzle velocity, it'd be interesting to compare both guns' muzzle horsepower figures.

Ok, I did a little estimation using the equation: energy = .5 * weight * velocity^2 / 7000 / 32.175, Where weight is in grains, and velocity is in feet/second.7000 is grains per pound, and 32.175 is acceleration due to gravity in ft/s/s. The m102 fires a 33lb shell @ ~1400ft/s making about 1.3 million ft/lbs of energy, the gau-8 du round is roughly 4650 grain (.7lb, I think, could be wrong) with a velocity of about 3400ft/s producing roughly 120,000ft/lbs of energy.

Taking into account an optimum firing rate of 10 rounds per min, the m102 puts about 13mil ft/lbs of energy on target per min. The gau-8 fires 2100 rounds per min, making about 250mil ft/lbs of energy on target per min. The Gau-8 is more powerful in the long run, but the m102 is more powerful shot for shot. Keep in mind the m102 has a 7.5 mile effective range compared to the gau-8's ~1300 yards.
