yes I agree. Regardless of the hindu/muslim thing. I still think it's going to be jacked up situation for the average indian citizen. In any case, not much anyone can do at this point. The whole world is going to feel the hit of the economy. And it's going to be bad. You have to start thinking in terms of that.

I agree with you on the IT thing. But it is wrong to put all blame on Hindu upper class. In fact, the IT boom was started by private individuals, inspite of the effed up government. What IT has done, however, is that it has shown the virtues of liberalisation. Now there are less restrictions on other parts of the economy, which lets them do much better than before. Ofcourse, there is long ways to go.

Yea I agree, but this time the upper class really effed things up in India. They got this IT boom and they banked everything on it. But didn't realize that it was just a firecracker. It looks pretty for a little bit, but in no way means you are an established player in the global economy. And I can bet you in our economy in the US goes down it's gona take every desi and chapta with it. That's when the real test is going to come for hindu leadership. And with corruption still rampant, ppl r fukd!

Sanatana Dharma, the real name of Hindu religion, has always existed and will always exist, even after creation ceases to exist. Hindu scriptures talk about the various continents on earth. This was way way before Columbus landed on America. Besides, Hinduism in India can be traced back to hundreds of thousands of years. Before Sanatana Dharma there was nothing. In fact, it can be argued, that Islam is just a sub sect of the Hindu religion (ofcourse without some of the fanatical part).

In all societies the upper classes always rule. Hinduism is honest enough to admit to it, while others pretend equality, but practice otherwise. However, the caste system is not about discrimination as much as it is about differentiation. No question there is misuse, and this has to be addressed, and this is where the flexibility of Hinduism helps.

yea just like the aryan invasion is a myth. It's so stupid how they are rewriting history in india. There are historical accounts of everything, but they just claim it never happened. Like I said, once the indian economy goes to shit, then we'll see who is moral and immoral.

you know what it doesn't matter now anyway. You know why? because the indian economy like the world economy is in the gutter. And once that happens no one is gona care about the hindu-muslim conflict if they don't have money to eat. And infact the hindu extremist militants dug a big hole for themselves. The public, I don't care who is not gona give a rat's ass if their kids don't got food to eat. In that crisis let's see who will be more moral, muslims or hindus.

Akbar was one of the nicer Moghuls, but his grandson, Aurangzeb, was a tyrant. The story about Akbar's wife Jodha is also a myth. Hisorically there is no proof about Akbar's marriage to a woman resembling what everyone refers to as Jodha. This was just propaganda to keep Hindus pacified. The Moghuls were ofcourse masters at politics.

The only morality Muslims proudly declare is sexual morality. Looting, stealing, corruption, cheating, etc. etc. are not as important to Muslims. And Muslims will always lecture others about how immoral others are and how Muslims are so moral. why do muslims always dwell on the sexual ? perhaps it is because they are deprived. And In Heera Mandi in Lahore, from what i recall all the whores are Muslims. Ever seen those raunchy Punjabi plays from Lahore with Muslimahs dancing ?

Ok if moghuls wanted to convert hindus to Islam, why the wife of Akbar a hindu woman? In Islam we are not allowed to force someone to become muslim. You can give them the messagem, but that's it. My ancestors were probably hindu, a mixture of aryan and dravidians like everyone else. But who cares? Before hinduism, our ancestors followed a different religon, and before them they followed a different religion.
