Quite possibly the worst ending to any movie EVER. I mean, it makes me want to become a doctor so I can tell my patients they have inoperable brain cancer and will die in six months. Then, when they come back in six months after blowing their entire retirement account I'll say "Surprise! you don't have cancer! Happy birthday!"

Seriously, what kind of present is being tricked into thinking you killed your brother?

Seriously though, never mind that there was no specific reason he would jump off of that side of the building, that's a LONG way for gusts of wind and such to take him off course. And yeah, let's assume that they would be able to replace any bullets in any gun he got by magic after he loaded it with real bullets. What happens if he grabs a knife from some where? Again, for the "present" of thinking he killed his brother. What fun!
