There's a strain of brain-damaged hyper-nationalism that infects American culture. It's closely associated with the neoconservative power in sway now, and sounds in practice like little more than middle school brats beating their chests. I am an American citizen simply by having been born here, but I can tell you I really feel like an outsider because of the pandemic idiocy in this country.

Your inviting yourself in this conversation isn't particularly welcome, but I make note of your comment, although you're trolling into a thread out of your league. I once again maintain this guy doesn't know enough of the French language to proclaim that he "hates it". I can't see how anyone could "hate" a language. I myself am fluent in 7 languages and I love them all. Beyond that, the guy's comment "I hate French it sucks" was ridiculous to begin with and utterly useless. A bit like yours.

sounds like you have an extremist definition of the word "hate". perhaps you should have learnt some more colloquial, informal aspects of language; namely english, alongside the formal 7 languages you brag about.
