Oh,come on you all saying who's better, gimme a break!Comparing Steve to Marty is like comparing oranges to headphones!!! Two different styles.Marty has obviously practiced a lot the solo, maybe 'cause he wanted to impress Steve, that is one of Marty's influence, and absolutely rocked. Steve, instead, wasn't familiar with the tune, but the result isn't bad at all.
However, they are two of the best guitarists in their genres and they are both very versatile (though I'm quite the Marty's fanboy)!

in this video maybe martys solo was better but steve has to solo about some metal song and marty has the opinion to express himself with hold the line in the backing ...
maybe that time martys solo sounded better BUT ..
