It is often said that pychoanalysis cannot be a science as it structurised in a way that it cannot be proven to be false. But if we briefly look into a lot of subjects in science such as Evolution theory, in fact we find that it cannot be proven to be false either. Any kind of evidence that might make doubt the theory can be explained one way or other without damaging the authority of the thoery. Thus, it calls for more research in demarcating religion from science...

Some of his theory don't make sense, and in my opinion is slightly mad. However the vast majority of his theory does bring us closer to understanding psychology.

Psychoanalysis was a religion at best (a cult at worst). This pseudo-science of the 19th century was a big scam.

half wit. no religion has ever had any effect, but any patient of psychoanalysis is living proof of the effectiveness, and in the eyes of any pragmatist, as long as it cures people, it is truth.

Psychoanalysis is a religion at best (or a cult at worst) because none of its theories can be proven. This pseudo-science of the 19th century is one of the greatest scam ever made.

Freud is a genius , one of the people who emprouved our century. Unfortunatelly people who don't understand him hate him.
I have much respect for him and Jung!
