He's good. Sounds a lot like Michael Manring with a little Percy Jones. As far as the sound either you love the pedulla and zon coated fretless fingerboard sound or hate it. I like it. These basses will never sound like the kind of boat epoxy-and fender jazz defretted Jaco tone.
