Your hand position with the left hand looks very good. I am having a very hard time with this. I'd love to see your left hand positioning from the back and top view so I can try a better thump position that works.

Thanks for posting lessons. Much appreciated. I am a beginner. I am just about to go on to doing scales with no open strings. From this lesson, I will take the advice to go up and down on the strings with alternate picking. I noticed that you don't anchor a finger or two on your pick guard with your right hand. How do you always find your strings? My teacher says "two fingers on the guitar" over and over.

Cool stuff, no clue about the order that I should learn stuff or what I should learn, but I'll be more then happy to check out all your videos (Along with others on the net) and learn whatever it is that you teach. I'm sure it'll all dovetail together somewhere.

As for teaching via Skype and webcam, I think that'd be a really cool idea and is worth experimenting with... just need a structured way for viewers to communicate. Me and my buddy are both interested.

i wounldnt use the open ones, your right, i just clicked on this, but i already know many scales and useing the open... is like a " Do Not Do " but this is for beginners , and even tho i disagree with his teaching methods, this is alot easyer, but hard in the long run, cuz later ur not gunna use just the bottom fingers, your gunna use all of your fingers i can put the scale i learned bellow for the Pentitonic Scale #1
