12" Rockford Fosgate playing Bass I Love You

This is my new sub woofer, its a 12" Rockford Fosgate P1 on the same head unit and amp, but i took out the roadmasters. comments and suggestions are greatly appreachieated, but please, no bad comments dissing me about my system, i would love to hear how i could improve it, but please dont diss me or my system. im 16, have a part time job, i cant afford expensive stuff, so yea alot of this is bought at walmart...

i've got to say dude, if you can afford a Zune, you can definitely afford a Pro Box and a 12 inch that isn't made entirely of plastic.. Those punch subs suck, only because of their plastic design. even xplod subs are good but until they break.. which is easy. oh and also, make sure the box is ported (has a hole in it)

when i was 16 i was rockin at first two mtx off a massive amp and then i got two memphis subs that are by far louder than enybodys at my school

switch out that sony amp for a visonik. It is a cheap amp but will def hit harder than that. also the box is crucial always get a nice box, i learned that the hard way. i started with homemade the got a real nice custom box and it was easly twice the power and only $100

Doing better then I was at 16 lol, Urban Audio 12" in a home speaker cabinet, run off Kraco deck and amp lol... but here is where being broke can come in handy. Spend alot of time reading about audio, how it works, etc. Then learn about enclosure designs, types, etc. Then start building your own boxes... use cheap stuff at first (scraps or whatever). Learn how to build a box that "fits" your sub. Because even a great sub will sound like garbage in the wrong box.

not bad i know the feeling of not being able to afford expensive stuff im 16 to and i only got a 500w rf amp and a sony xplod but they pound like cazy i was suprised but your setup isnt too bad either rf is the best brand atleast to me

RF don't make great subs but their amps cant be beat.

Please buy a real subwoofer. Not a cheap RF Punch. Just buy Earthquake.
