Fabulous! Thanx for posting! Too bad there is so many shots of the revolting people in the crowd, but still fabulous!

Anyone think the guy on the right looks like Nat Hentoff at 5:19?

I agree with you buddy. Sometime while listening to Miles I would feel as if he's singing. That muted trumpet at times really does sound like a voice.

Who did drugs ever help? Edgar Allen Poe.

Edgar Allan Poe was a genius on his own. His death may have actually been caused by drugs. This is insane. It scares me that there are people in the world that think heroin is good. And then suggest that I'M ignorant. To see how great drugs are check out: Billie Holiday, Janis Joplin, Judy Garland, Jim Morrison, Gia Carangi, Edith Piaf,Chet Baker, Lenny Bruce, montgomery clift, Nick Drake, Jimi hendrix. Oh and ask Whitney Houston what drugs have done for her. I hear she sounds GREAT lately

I don't agree with drug use but drugs enhance (or decrease) the function of certain parts of the brain. If a drug causes a part of the brain that is responsible for creativity, musicality, or what have you then an artist as an artist could be better for it. I'm not saying that the drugs don't have the potential to destroy the person. Look at Elvis.

Actually heroin and acid are both semisynthetic, contain chemicals and therefore are not all natural. In any case There are many harmful things in nature so I don't get the argument. I think it's completely insane to suggest that crack or heroin might be GOOD for someone (correct me if i'm wrong that you believe this). It's unfathomable that you are of sound mind and believe this!

You are not only trying to put words in my mouth, but you are splitting hairs with the semisynthetic thing, that feeds right into that severe double-standard that I talked about in an above post. I see by your remarks that you are a strong crusader for your cause. I'm not pro-crack or shooting up, but I am pro-people getting their medicine. I don't think that should be governed. That's why we have to change policy, attitude, education to make things better because current pathways lead us nowhere.
