The police in Brazil never do anything to protect its citizens, rather, they kill them when they have a chance. Sort of shoot first ask questions later. I question the civility in Brazil, and wonder who would want to go there on a vacation - with mininal protection by police - it is a chance not worth taking.

Brings back memories, as my family and I lived there 1967 - 1969, almost 2 years.

FYI: Ceara is pronounced se-a-RA:)
