American cars are worthless??? Tell that to Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. They give you a lifetime unlimited mileage powertrain warranty on most of their cars and trucks and amazingly this even includes the Dodge Viper. If German cars and Japanese cars are so superior, when are they gonna offer this kinda warranty on just their normal passenger vehicles??

Not neccesarily. Look at the Ford GT and the Saleen, these are two cars thats around 550hp and have a big engine. But the car is actually light. they are probably the lightest 500 hp cars their is that I can think of. The problem with the mustang is, Ford builds it for the family, (back seat, extra luxury, and probably a heavy suspension to make the car ride smoother).

Your not picking up any girls in that ugly Subaru!! Shocked at how good the Subaru did. Very nice but I'll take the Shelby any day of the week. There has to be something said about an American made muscle car that looks and sounds good!

that's the point, American car companies make bigger engines to get more hp, but Jpanesse use smaller, turbo engines, which are lighter and faster !!

No this car is sent to Las Vegas,NV to the Shelby Automotive Centre to be transformed... unlike the Shelby GT500, Carroll Shelby himself has put his hands on the car, and not just his ideas.
