do you understand how a gun shoots? if you do then its common sense to know how it gets out of the magazine

The 5.56 is incomparable to the 5.7, nor is the 5.7 supposed to replace the 5.56... 5.7 was developed as a small calibre AP round to replace SMGs and pistols (9mm & .45 acp).

moron...

first of all, only 38% of belgians speak french, the rest speak dutch (and a tiny fraction speak german). sencondly, france is a different country than belgium, france has nothing to do with FN.

The belgians use both 5.7 mm, and 5.56 mm. The 5.7 mm is a replacement for the 9mm, not for the 5.56 mm. They have an FN rifle that uses 5.56 mm and M16 magazines. They also use the pistol that fires the same round. From what I understand it is for use against body armor, as the 5.7 mm would be more effective than 9mm. I do not know about stopping power though. Basically this weapon here is a submachine gun or PDW, not an assault rifle. Either way, its a beautiful gun, I wish I had one.
