Dude, that was AMAZING... I remember when I was a kid, my dad warned me about being in low-lying areas in the desert (especially when it's stormy) that something like this can occur, and that what happens where you are standing can be influenced by factors taking place miles away, and this nicely illustrates the point. COOL COOL!

Thanks for the kind words. I remember being told about these also, but nobody I talked to could say they had seen a wall of water, so I decided to start filming them. If there was any doubt...it's gone now ;)

first rule of nature photography- be in the right place at the right time. 2nd rule- use a tripod.
