American Flight 77
BackREAD ME ...
UPDATE 5/19/07: After finding a separate NTSB report, my fuel load was too heavy. This explains to me why I reached the turn time at HNN about 20-30 miles earlier than actual. Fuel consumption was still withing margins. I will make a second video using actual fuel weight and we'll compare times there as well. Times of importance are takeoff, hijack turn, and time of impact.
Best at full screen, this flight was flown using information from the Flight Data Recorder. I flew the route normally and at certain times where there was a change in flight profile, I frap-recorded those events and their times. All times were within one minute of the official event times.
The sim used is X-Plane 8.4
Weather was set for that day, clear, variable winds, unknown altimeter setting.
Weight: 64 passengers x 170lb (the FAA Standard)= 10,880lbs plus 1,000lbs luggage.
Fuel: topped off at 80,000lbs.
takeoff weight: 204,162lbs
Route of Flight: LDN,J134,HNN,J134,FAL,BUM,J110,RSK,J64,PGS,CIVETS5.
AA77 only actually made it as far as just past the HNN VOR.
I am working on a full 1hr30min DVD of the entire flight. Anybody that wants one to see for themselves can contact me.
The song is Everybody Hurts by R.E.M., available on Warner Records.
I chose that song since it reminds me of that day.

The C-130 was assigned to locate the high speed track we now know to be AA77. Both planes arrived on scene at the same time.

Majority of the bodies were found near the inner wall of ring D. Go to the NTSB website, click on FOIA reading room and you'll find the FDR.

"I cannot fathom why neither myself nor Ray, a former Air Force officer, missed a big 757, going 400 miles an hour, as it crossed in front of our window in its last 10 seconds of flight?...less than a minute after the explosion, we saw an odd sight. A 4-engine prop plane, which resembled a C-130, started a steep decent towards the Pentagon. It was coming from an odd direction (planes dont go east-west in the area), and it was descending at a much steeper angle than most aircraft." -Scott P Cook

Not one, but 4 crashes (and the only in recorded history) where no luggage, bodies, or seats were found. What flight data recorder? Wasn't that vaporized with the engines? LOL.

It was because it hit a series of lamp post momements before crash

If this were a precision military strike, all planes would have struck at the same time...not several minutes apart, giving opportunity to defeat the strike. The clear lack of military precision gives it away. N644AA was a 200 series with Prat Whitney's. Since you're wrong there, perhaps you're wrong elsewhere. Where's the seats, luggage & bodies from the other flights? Who says Hanjour was the sole pilot? The FDR clearly shows inputs at both pilot stations... 2 pilots were at the controls.
