I simply hate this setting with such costumes. VERY OLD-FASHIONED. Opera as it was before...I hate this sort of ellitist, bourgeois, aristocratic environment.

Very nice. Dessay at her best(time). But where are the spring voices? Up to now the only nightingale sounds i ever heard were produced by Erna Sack, so she still owns this waltz. Dont know if they have this kind of birds in South America as well, if - i have to mention Yma Sumac as well.

In case anyone misinterprets what I said... I intend that the tempo in this video is as close to perfect as most will get.

The tempo of the piece is fast. It's not an interpretation. It's as Strauss intended.

Nadie puede negar las estupendas cualidades artísticas y musicales de Natalie. Pero sinceramente no considero esta una de las mejores interpretaciones de ella. Solo por hacer un estupendo La es la mejor? En una pieza que no lo necesita!!!
