most artists today don't have near the talent. Sorry, but it is true. There are only a hand full of really talented folks these days, and even then, not THIS talented. People these days get away with murder as they are earning those big bucks.

I recognize Tommy Flanagan on piano, not too sure about the bass/drums. The Tommy Flanagan trio perhaps?

Anyone who takes vocal lessons needs to listen to a little Ella. She can run all up and down the key and make music. It bothers me when i see some american idol contestants that think they can cram some falsettos into a run and make music... take it back old school and see what it should sound like...

When my daughter was a baby instead of playing children's songs, I played Ella, Billie and Judy Garland -she still sings these songs along with the recordings-Ella is, and always will be my very fav voice because it was so sweet, happy, confident ,strong and most of all, creative-there will never be another Ella.

Thanks-raising a child is the hardest thing you can do-especially now-I think one thing we tend to do is over do the childish toys-if we think back hundreds of years ago, most people had very little income for toys-an alot of very talented people came through those periods, all over the planet-I think we need to keep toys to a minimum, and teach young children on real instraments if/when capable-I still marvel at what Lois Armstrong and so many had to do to be so talented.
