The day funk dies is the day music dies.

They have so much talent, especially John Norwood Fisher. That man is a hell of a bassist. (And his one dredlock out of the top of his head is awesome.)

Somehow this violent and unfortunately sad song match with the happiness and grace of the the dancers.
One of the video that makes Youtube worthless of a visit.

This is just proof of their great talent.
They can do whatever fucking goofy shit they want to onstage and in their videos and it's all fucking gold.

Agreed, black people complain (no offense to them im not genatilizing im for obama and grew up in south africa) that they don't have shit when RAP is absolutely raping u.s pop charts and everyone wants to be black and jokes about being black and wants to be a gangsta and wants to speak in eubonics! and i agree if fishbone came out now they would be famous

The best live band ever imo. They seemed tto come to DC every couple of months in the late 80's. They were the best.

I saw a triple bill two nights in a row in DC in 1988. It was the Red Hots, Fishbone, and Thelonius Monster. Fishbone played second and thus the Red Hots didn't come off as well because Fishabone Rocked the house both nights.
