unless the apparition of the microchip in 1948 was a fortuitous coincidence. But everything is possible, one way or another.

And yes, timelines can be changed, but no,that is not the end of the world or universe, only the end of the world as it would be or have been known for or by those in the timeline about to be changed;as in,someone can go back and kill Hitler, but much of the world as is now would cease to exist and be replaced by something similar and different. I also believe that whatever crashed in 1947 and is "kept" in area 51 was human aircraft from the future. Unless it is a coincidence that

The facts and the mechanics for time travelling are likely to be that yes;iy is possible. No,not at the moment. Yes,humans from the future are visiting us and even among us,on board of UFO's,being that the reason they do not make contact nor see them up close,as they have a timeline to protect and keep intact. If among us,they are likely to be bums, vagrants and such,as to have minimal interference with our present by being virtually invisible and ineffectual.

I remember studying this in school. Must understand spacetime first, as you slow down time speeds up, as you speed up time slows down. If I remember right, Einstein's theory says that if you pick a point & warp space around it at the speed of light then that piece of the fabric of space will experience no time. Drop particles onto that point of space and they will reappear at the point in time when the machine was turned on..theoretically. Elementary size particles only, sorry no humans!

It could happen .

never has it been confirmed that by traveling at or faster than the speed of light would send you back in time
