Unfortunately for one of your comments, WaroftheGalaxies, this is Afghanistan not Iraq. If I remember correctly there is no oil or wmd or "freedom fighting" going on there. Although I am not an American I view Afghanistan as a legitimate struggle namely because there was a direct link proven between AlQaeda/Taliban with 9/11. Even the UN accepted this. Therefore I believe NATO is doing good, just deeds in Afghanistan. Wouldn't you agree?
WaroftheGalaxies (April 21, 2008 at 6:03 am)
I'm not knowledgable much in Afghanistan. But I think overral, war is not the correct way to solve things. Why is killing millions of people, making others happy, just because of a couple of thousands died in a so called "Tragedy"? It's pretty barbaric, and a primitive way to solve things.

Its true but overall this mission is NATO and not American. So perhaps it takes a different goal aside from "killing bad guys."NATO hopes to rebuild Afghanistan and establish some structure of respect for human rights. If you were to read up on the history you would find that life for women and girls is horrible. Now i know that we in the western world are not perfect but i would daresay Afghanistan is a good example of a situation where foreign intervention is needed.Darfur is also an example.

Oh and, just because you don't agree with the majority or with "Society" doesn't make you delusional or crazy. I mean really; Muslims aren't the majority, Christians are; but does that mean ALL Muslisms are Insane because they don't become with the Majority and believe in Christianity? No! All the Christians could be flat out wrong and Insane. We don't know until the facts are here. Don't let some random Charlatan write crap and fool you into a wrong way of thinking.
