the only problem is HOW we are fighting this war.. nato as a whole has only a drop of effort in afghanistan.. its so restrictive because so many ppl back home in nato countries dont even understand what were doing.. there may not be a solid military solution to afghanistan.. but there isnt a peacefull one.. and there are MANY ways to finish this conflict.. we just need to give our troops the mandate to do it, rather than force them to drive around and wait for shit to happen

for instance.. total money spent on this war is a fraction of what was wasted in other places.. nato's presence in afghanistan isnt enough for the hearts and minds mission, or an offensive oriented mission.. need more troops, more resources, more gear.. more aid.. MORE EVERYTHING.. if you really knew aurora how little is given, you'd understand why its taken this long. afghanistan isnt a mystical place where army's go to die. thats what people think but its not:P we could do it if we really want

thankyou for listening and if your interested in seeing the canadian aspect of what my point is, if u havnt already.. see the documentary "the other war" in it you'll see canadians unable to even provide spark plugs to an afghan village.. or barbed wire for farmers.. its really sad that people expect all is being done when it isnt.. it doesnt help how biased against the mission and troops the news media is.. people back home dont get the real picture..

were being sent gear that doesnt work. 10 new chainsaws and none work, but someone back home gets paid for supplying the mission. wheres the news on that?? all i ever hear about afghanistan from the news is why some expert they bring on thinks it will fail. rarely do they ever have a straight talking expert on the subject. only other time you hear about it is 5 minutes once a week on who died/injured or fucked up and killed civis. its a shame
