Basically this is a AK-74 synthetic with a converted receiver to receive ( It is called a receiver for a reason ) shotgun shells. The diffrence being in the video it has a M4 pistol grip and a handguard that is converted and a piccanty rail on. DO YOU NEED A CLASS 3 REG TO OWN THIS MUTHA?

lol No , class 3 being for fully auto.

Izhmash claims dual chambering. Firing 5.56mmx45 in Saiga's is perfectly fine and will not cause damage. I know from experience. The barrel is milled from the same blank that the 7.62 caliber barrels are made from, so it is plenty thick enough to handle the slight increase in pressure when swapping to military ammo. I shoot it all the time and have never had any problems.

I wasn't sure. I've always seen it listed at .223, and never as 5.56.
I know realistic circumstances may vary, but I wouldn't fire ammunition not rated for my firearm regardless of thickness.

Cabela's sells surplus 5.56mmx45 packaged as .223 Rem. 5.56mm won't hurt your gun, I promise.
