10 gallon tank my ass. You need at least a 20 gallon tank; if not 50 gallon tank for any type of turtle. Also, that filter is meant for water to be all the way filled up to the top of the tank, but turtles are semi-aquatic, so where is the basking area going, and such? What a dumbass. She knows jackshit.

agreed. I agree with some stuff she says. But saying you can keep a turtle in a 10 gallon is just stupid...

Thank you so much for really getting to the need for filtration!! I have three juvenile RES in a 44 gallon tank.... I've gone through two filters that just don't do it! I'm getting ready to purchase a filter that will accomodate 120+ gallons. Turtles are poopers!!! XD

PS It'd be really nice to mention as well the difference between aquatic and semi-aquatic turtles.
