They have to stop mercury pollution, period. Eventually human population will no longer be able to care for so many autistic people. What modern culture would continue mercury pollution , and for what purpose? Greed !

to ban it would admit GUILT, they will not ban it, they will just wait for people to vote with there feet and not get them anymore, then the ADA will act like it never happened,,

Then why is there mercury in many breeds of fish we eat like bass and tuna I find it hard to believe that the large of an amount of mercury could be found in so many places just from fillings there has to be some major dumpings going on in the ocean.

well, no unless it's illegal dumping !
The Uk is banning mercury in teeth because it does environment damage. i asked at which point it was 'safe' in our mouths ! and got a dirty look from the dentists. If there's 250,000,000 US citizens and many of them ahve one or more fillings, and after 5 years half the mercury leaks out, and with time much more, then calculate how many tons of mercury this is, and you will be close to the amount in the environment which legally leaks out from our teeth !
