Of course stealing is illegal. Bit Torrents are being shut down all over the world. The number of countries that have agreed to stop piracy has now increased to 164. Pirate Bay has been charged with 21 crimes by the Swedish gov't. The laws have existed for 300 years.

Millions of workers are harmed by pirates. Anyone that thinks that crime has no victims is either a master at rationalizing or a purley immoral person.

Pirates and other I'Net criminals use every manner of methods to steal. Cloned modems, cloned IPs, cloned URLs, cloned email addresses, proxy servers, proxy ISPs, proxy SMTP servers, whatever. How does this make the criminal any better and the victim any less a victim?

I'm sure you will answer with additional choice dirty words and insults instead of an actual argument.

You don't understand, when i said 'cloned modems' can get people taken to court, it's because somebody else is using that modem, i.e the person not downloading will go to court and WILL get fined for this, you clearly don't know what the fuck(whoops a dirty word!) you're talking about by the way you;re talking about these things.

I understood that exactly and responded three times. Read my posts before responding. Like all criminals, pirates are bastards. Criminals try to deflect their crimes on innocents all the time. How is this any different? Do you think a car theif doesn't point the finger at someone else? How does thi smake the pirate less guilty?

Back to the point of the video. Copying copyrighted material has been illegal for three centuries. The concept of intellectual property rights has brought enormous progress over the last 300 years. We now realize thet products of the mind deserve the same protections as products of muscle. And people that use their minds have rights too.
