Tornado F1, Super Etendard and Mirage 2000 have seen enough action to earn respect. MiG-21's are like Ak-47's (cheap, easy maintenance and an abundant supply). Mil and Kamov have finally redeemed itself after being led by US Ah-64 and Ah-1 Cobra with their own faster and more agile Mi-28 and Ka-50/52 Alligator. Overall when it comes down to aviation exports its USA and Russia while Europe is on the sidelines. Can't wait for MAKS 2008!

F-117A is the worst aerodynamical plane ever designed but thats no reason for having it shut down 30 years ahead of schedule. F-18 and F-16 are in the same class as a typical MiG-29. The naval Russian Su-33 has no equivalent for it is second to none. B-2 was the most undetectable plane ever made until S-400 and Pantsir S1 were introduced to world market. The B-1 has a bigger brother which is none other than Tu-160 (largest bomber in the world).

Besides the music here's a lesson on aviation 101: B-52 had a good long run and is stil reliable. Sukhoi with its Su-27 Flanker and constant upgrades has been the world leader for over 20 years until now no thanks to the Raptor which is about to be shortlived once PAK-FA flies this year or the next. Eurofighter has its ups and downs but I think delta wing configuration is something of the past.
