>> Parallels is nice for using programs like MS word or photoshop since I only have them for windows, but it only emulates them. The windows partition runs much slower than with bootcamp

i just can't do parallels on my MacBook, runs way too slow, so i just got photoshop and microsoft office for mac. much better

I don't know while people are hating on my point. It's calling mac out on their marketing bullshit. They could have used a smaller boarder around the edge of the screen, and therefore givin you a larger screen area. I love my mac. but just making a simple point about it. Don't know why that point is so unpopular.... for anyone who thumbs downs my comments: do you like having a smaller screen on a pretty normal sized computer? put your 13 on top of a 15 and you'll see its almost the same size.
freezazoid (July 26, 2008 at 11:27 pm)
yeah, I know that already and I've always known that. My point is the screen size could have been bigger and the computer the exact same size. They purposefully used a larger border around the screen so they could call it a 13 inch computer. because if it had the same size boarder around the screen that every other mac has they would have to call it a 14 inch, and that fucks up the marketability. I never really noticed it until the other day I realized how fricking small my dads old 12" is.
