Sexual Harassment In A Workplace Training Training Video PSA

Back

Created for United States military personnel, this film produced by the Walter Reed Army Medical Center includes five dramatizations designed to propel meaningful discussion about sexual harassment in the workplace. In the first three dramatizations, employees are placed under duress to perform sexual favours for their superiors, while the latter enactments involve workers who are physically or verbally abused by their associates while in the presence of others. The third dramatization, "Work or Dessert," is especially illuminating because it emphasizes the fact that sexual harassment is not experienced exclusively by women, as many men receive improper treatment from their female cohorts. Questions are provided after each dramatization to encourage critical thinking. The actors may be amateurs, but the film is quite informative. Public domain film.

Look, here's the situation. Women use their sexuality to get what they want, get people to defend them, and get out of trouble. However, when men call them on it they don't like it. As long as women have all the power, they are happy. Geez, don't you people know anything.

So using your 'logic' - all the reports of military soldiers and even high ranking officers being jailed, losing promotions, being demoted, being suspended and dishonourably discharged with such punitive atcions often instigated without the rigour of proof (i.e. initially mere hearsay)are just fabrications I suppose? *rolleyes*

What the women coming back from Iraq have said is true; they have been brutally raped not by a stranger in some dark alley but by their male comrades. This is what the world needs to know and condemn. Emma, you are young and wise, but you need to realize that RAPE--and that is what this is--is a crime of violence. To the male perps, it is all about power and control. I tell you this as an Army veteran, a survivor and a counselor. A rapist doesn't care what DISEASE you have. NOT THE POINT.
