the shown f-16 is a single seater and on the hud-footage you can clearly hear TWO pilots...

Guys, this is a compilation of pictures of an F-16 and what was actually being flown was a Canadian trainer (which wasn't a -16).

The HUD footage and the outside footage are *NOT* related. The outside footage shows an F-16C (single seat) and the HUD footage is from a BAE Hawk jet trainer, which is a two seat aircraft, and the cockpit voice recoding confirms two crew members on board. The first audible warning is 'T6NL', which basically means compressor failure. The second warning is 'gear not down', which occurs when the sink rate is high, and the altitude is low, and the gear is up.

That makes sense , i was wondering why if it was the same plane in both angles they didn't show it crashing.

and the phrase "gear not down" sound a lot like english.

at 49 seconds it sounded like the controller said i'll fly the plane. was it under remote control?
vanbeukenmans (October 13, 2008 at 1:03 am)
nope its a dual seater. you here the other pilot.
btw i think the f-16 was a dutch F-16AM witch had a bird hit/flame-out at an airshow. i might be wrong but im pretty sure
