Army's Mini-Drone Swarm

Back

In this animated promotional video, defense contractor BAE Systems shows off its vision for "Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology" -- tiny, swarming, bug-like robots. The Army just gave the company a $38
million contract to head up a consortium of researchers into the next-gen mini-drones.

Not very realistic also a counter rotating dual rotor helicopter or ducted fan design would be much simpler and more practical then the orthinopter design.
BAE is just full of it as usual and is just trying to get some tax money.
Most of these future weapons vids are BS remember starwars back in the 80s this is the starwars propaganda of the 200xs.

I know how to fry them, not sure if we can eat?

I'll put my magnatron extending out from microwave into curvex of an old satellite dish.
How I know where to point dish?
very silly question.
Idiots don't they know ordinary car-speed detector can give you pertty good beep there.

Gash! Why veterans have to live under road bridges in USA?
Obviously govt is interested in funding war gear with no benefit of return on foolish expenditure.

This worth money could give 3500 shelters for homeless.

Weird since BAE Systems isn't American.

YES! someone who actually isn't concerned about the government spying on them...cause they know that their government doesn't care about them unless they make themselves noticed...lol, roboflies aren't going to be used in peoples living rooms except when those people are thought to be criminals...or worse.

ummmm...the point of this is to prevent hand-to-hand combat...and if u didnt know...ppl die or get injured in hand to hand combat...

Hand to hand isn't even very important in modern military actions any more most deaths are from IEDs,mines and snipers not hand to hand.
