The Army is actually in a liable suit with the makers because they supposedly did biased tests, not just because one was cheaper but because the other company was a repeat contracter for the Army.

If both the marine corps and the army do not allow me to wear Dragonskin, I'll never join any of them. I was seriously thinking of joining the Marine corps, but if they do not allow me to wear the best protection, then Hell I'm not going.

The army tested it and said that it did real bad in room temperature. In another test, Dragonskin was hit 7 times by steel-core 7.62 round and not a single one penetrated. Plus it disperses the kinetic energy.

i dont believe that tho what would the differnce of the the temp of the room have to do with it being really bad or really good
i think they just dont want to switch
