umm, how many guitarists does it take to match the volume a banjo? 10... 20 maybe?

Awesome playing all round, great vibe, love it!!

Now folks, this is what Southern mountain music is all about. No electronics involved at all... It's pure talent!

Today, saturday, september 27th, two of my friends and I had the incredible honor to be one of 5 bands to open for Doc Watson. We were at a music festival called "Jammin' for the Well." It was a benefit festival for the Well of Mercy organization. Doc, Richard Watson, and David Holt went on at 5:00, but 5 other bands were playing before him. Me and two of my frieds were one of those bands.

the difference is, we don't let someone grab a gun over the counter without a background check!!

Neither do we.
muhjaheed (September 29, 2008 at 8:06 pm)
sure you do, i can grab a gun OVER THE COUNTER in a number of states.....lol that means no background check
dcfreak23 (September 29, 2008 at 9:52 pm)
No, you can't.

And just for further rhetoric... the reason that we have a black market for guns (which I assure you that Canada does, too) is that you just can't get a firearm Class 1 - Class 3 without a Background check. If you could, everyone would go to "those states". And on top of that, how would we track down murderers using bullets and such if we didn't register their guns?

How old are you?

yo brother you could not be more wrong. there are zero states in the U.S. that you can buy a gun over the counter anymore. why would you talk like you really know?

When I saw Doc is concert he said that he had been blind since birth

the likes of scruggs "took" me away from a techno and electro background! still have their time n place though. but after realising how incredible scruggs was, gettin into other bluegrass leading to southern rock etc. been a good wee adventure!
