You nailed it- If I might repeat a fitting cliche that I heard Kim Mitchell (admittedly) steal from Rik Emmett-
"Good composers- compose but 'great' composers BORROW"

Sometimes imitation is the most sincere form of flattery- Anon

typical fanboy bullshit i bet i know more about NIN than all of you.i totally agree with u about TG been an SP influence along with cabaret voltaire pinkdots etc... but one think is an influence and a totally different thing is ripping songs and Mr, Reznor sure knows how to do it good.and the only thing he did is tried to comercialice industrial music he didnt do anything else for industrial music note to all of you NIN fan kids i respect that he has done a lot of good songs but not industrial

It doesn't surprise me that Trent stole this song. Trent Reznor is a talentless piece of shit! NIN sucks ass!

Fuck NIN and fuck all you NIN fanboys.

No band is original. Everyone rips off someone in the music industry, this is nothing new. Where would Skinny Puppy be without Throbbing Gristle? Even the greatest composer of all times Beethoven ripped off Haydn and Mozart left and right.

This -short- version is only a taste of the album length one. This is the song that got into SP! "Execute! Economic Slave!" Brilliant.

i used to think NIN was a real original band until i listened to real industrial music...its not about an influence its about whos copying who and NIN is really big copy machine
and industrial music is just a term its not exactly a genre basically the name would be experimental music

God I love industrial music. For me SP and NIN are the best. Can't see the problem if Trent is influented by SP, this makes me even more happy. So lets just enjoy the music.
