Yes God is the cause of all creation. He did also create beings with a free will to love and serve him freely. God didnt create evil. Evil is the absence of God, just like coldness is the absence of heat, and darkness is the absence of light. I have a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from Rome Italy.read the Summa Theologica before you get on here and slander the Almighty Holy Trinity. Its a sheer miracle that anyone who puts down the Name of God by bearing false witness against Him is still alive.

Cool, maybe you can answer a few questions about theology that have been bugging me?
When I said evil I specifically ment original sin, Adam & Eve eating the apple. God knew the snake would succeed in tricking them but he created the snake anyway. Why not put the tree of knowledge on Mars, out of human reach, if it was so dangerous? It's like a chemistry reaction, put 2 H2 (Innocents) together with O2 (snake) and ignite (Tree) and you get H2O - Sin. They could have done no other.

Well ktc0754, thats a good question. Glad you asked it, and we can clear things up here. Creation is good because the One who created it is Goodness Himself. We are made in His image ans likeness which means we have an intellect and will. An intellect to know Him, and the will to love Him freely. God knew that if He gave his creation a free will that not all will choose to love and serve him back. God works outside of time, he transcends time and space.

God created Adam and Eve without sin, they were perfect and were going to live forever. Original sin came through the decision of adam and eve to reject God through their actions. Satan tempted them and basically called God a liar saying that "God doesnt want you to eat from this tree of knowledge of good and evil because you will become like little gods deciding what is good and evil". Basically they would make up their own truth subjectively and arbitrally.

He refused to obey God. regardless of whether lucifer did not see the perfection of God's choice because, even as the highest intelligence in creation, he is still imperfect. he chose to deny his creator saying "Non serviam". St michael responded with "Who is like unto God?". st michael recognized his Creators perfection and accepted his Divine Masters will. Lucifer did not. it wasnt about bowing down to us. it was about kneeling to God the only being deserving of worship

Hmm, well I wouldn't go that far, but I like the Tridentine Mass more than Novus Ordo.
