I too am lucky to have met Alan, during a short visit to Sydney in 2002/03.I always hung out at Circular Quay with a friend of Alan, Mullion Ga (Rodney)who passed away in 2005 of a heart attack. Rodney took me to meet Alan, we had a few beers together and Alan and Rodney played some tunes together. Then Alan explained to me that women aren't allowed to play the didge in public and I respect that!!!)But Alan took my didge and played it, and I'm very honoured and will always remember.
Luv,Kirsten

I had the honor of meeting him, purely by accident in ASustralia. That is one of my most cherished memories, thank you for giving me that memory, along with the great music. Rest well, maestro.
