Future by Design Trailer, William Gazecki Director
BackWORLD PREMIERE JUNE 10 ATLANTA FILM FESTIVAL
Future by Design shares the life and far-reaching vision of Jacque Fresco, considered by many to be a modern day Da Vinci. Peer to Einstein and Buckminster Fuller, Jacque is a self-taught futurist who describes himself most often as a "generalist" or multi-disciplinarian -- a student of many inter-related fields. He is a prolific inventor, having spent his entire life (he is now 90 years old) conceiving of and devising inventions on various scales which entail the use of innovative technology. As a futurist, Jacque is not only a conceptualist and a theoretician, but he is also an engineer and a designer.

Success is how well we can relate to everything around us

i think its a good idea to build in the ocean cause you can save the land for more agriculture and other stuff like that, to help feed the world lmao, there is more water then land you know

I'd rather have the farms floating on the sea, and me living on the land rather than the other way around.
BankOFganja (October 7, 2008 at 7:31 pm)
no im saying of course we will have cities and farms on land, but having cities in the sea will reduce the population pressure on land cities such as china and japan m8, and plus ive been scuba diving and its a wonderful sight to see

... my other account too lazy to relogin. Yeah man, I'm sure it'd be great to have cities at sea for such things and I wouldn't mind visiting and I'm sure some people would like to live there... but just think about the land we'd free up if we stopped farming on the continents... all the forests that would be saved... oh man it's such a great thought.

vbullinger Zeitgeist 1 and 2 are awesome movies, but The Venus Project is even more. And I guess they need the money for they plan. In today's world, what can anyone do without money?
Even the Zeitgeist movement will need donations, as the Freedom To Fascism from Aaron Russo does.

In case you haven't noticed, we don't LIVE in a resource-based economy yet. Besides, FBD was produced & directed by a professional documentary filmmaker who makes documentaries for a LIVING -- would you suddenly go to work tomorrow and tell your boss he or she doesn't need to pay you anymore because you want to live in a money-less system? Get real. Take steps to make this type of vision a reality instead of expecting to suddenly get everything of value for free.
