Dale Hunter cheapshots Pierre Turgeon

The final game of the 1993 preliminary round playoff series between the Washington Capitals and New York Islanders. Pierre Turgeon steals the puck from Dale Hunter and scores. Incensed, Hunter follows Turgeon as he celebrates his goal, and runs him into the boards from behind. Turgeon ends up with a separated shoulder and will miss the next playoff series. Hunter is suspended 21 games.

Hunter was a good hockey player,especially at playoff time.He was also a classless individual who cheapshoted players who were not known for their toughness.I stand by what I said earlier.He could have given my kid at least an acknowledgement.

From what I've seen on interviews - he seems like a decent guy off ice, but of course he was always a sob on ice.

There is a certain etiquette regarding fights in hockey, and in this case it was not followed (you don't blindside a guy into the boards...especially after the play has stopped)
