How do you get a job as a contractor? Do you have to know someone? I spent 3 years as an 11B in the Army, I dont see why I couldnt get a job doing convoy escorts. I used to see those guys rolling around in the back of dually pickup trucks with AK-47s. I dont know about that what with all the IEDs, but for 100,000 sign me up. You do the same crap you did in the Army, just you get to dress in flannel and blue jeans, thats the way to fight a war. But seriously how do you get a job?

160,000 dollers or just over 80,000 pounds a year, £1500.00 a week that is f....... shite !
i know of guys getting 10/15,000 britsh pounds a week ....

i must admit the private military is much better payed and better operated than the public military, i've bean in the royal marines for 12 years and i'm thinking of going into the private sector

cleggie, just make sure to seriously look at going to the private sector. If you do go private, make sure you have a 10+ year plan. I see a lot of people who get into this type of work, and only do it on a short term basis. Some contractors will blow all there money within six months to a year after they come back.
