BackBlackwater, which recently terminated its membership in the face of an IPOA ethics investigation, wasn't there. But Spencer Ackerman was there to ask them a few questions and see what was up.

Wow- ethics ! Then someone should give back some ripped off funds . If someone commits a crime they should be lock up and if that doesn't happened then there needs to be some checks!

Let's call them what "Private Security Contractors" are - mercenaries. Look how hard these mercenary companies are trying to cover-up the Blackwater mess. These contracts are worth a HUGE fortune. As you can see by Blackwater's actions (canceling their IPOA membership) that they don't intend to be ethical and go on with conducting secret wars for money.

Well, I mean a product in general, not necessarily weapons.
Whoo69 (November 8, 2007 at 10:40 pm)
The real ethics issue is the fact that companies that keep us in a state of perpetual warfare and indirectly lead to things like Iraq by supplying the weapons and making money off of them are still a huge influence on the gov't. The military-industrial complex is perhaps the only big industry that makes weapons specifically for gov't and not to sell on the main market.
