No question that the spider symbolises a black man, the hands did that clear for me. However, I don't give a shit they can make whatever cartoons they like fuck this global policestateworld.

Masaoka was one of the giants of early Japanese animation, and this is probably his greatest work. Setting aside the racist portrayal (which was a direct Western import that had no profound meaning in Japan), one remarkable aspect of this film that set it apart from other animation of the same period is that there isn't even a hint of war propaganda. Thanks to miniTAIYAKI for posting it. (If you like this, you can see more old anime on my channel.)

Japanese old anime had a great deal of atmosphere.beautidul song,a look,a sense of season etc. I'm glad that nowadays japanese anime is popular whole world, though these anime lack of something.

Creepy as hell!... I like it, though. The spider has a very nice singing voice.
